Bearfeet is an indie-pop band born from the creative minds of singer-songwriters Hanne Pluvier and Toon Develtere. They create a unique blend of feel-good and comfort music. Their harmonious sound is inspired by artists like The Lumineers, Angus & Julia Stone and Gregory Alan Isakov.
They proudly released their debut album 'Begin Again' in 2021, which was just a humble beginning of their musical journey.
Bearfeet has evolved into a five-member powerhouse, with Briek Maertens on drums, Jeroen Vanhoorne on double bass, and Johannes Wannyn on the banjo. This group of five creative individuals share a deep friendship and passion for music. Their chemistry on stage is infectious.

Briek Maertens
Drums & Percussion
Briek has been an integral part of Bearfeet since its inception. Bringing a unique sound through his creative drumming and seamless rhythm integration with the other band members. Currently, he is studying drums at PXL in Hasselt, Belgium. In addition to Bearfeet, Briek is involved in several other projects, including "Yes No Maybe," which won "De Nieuwe Lichting" in 2024.

Johannes Wannyn
Banjo, Acoustic Guitar & Backing Vocals
Johannes is a multi-instrumentalist who joined Bearfeet in 2023. He is the glue in the bearfeet sound. He masterfull ties in vocal harmonies while on banjo and acoustic guitar he finds the perfect phrases and rhytmic parts to complement the music. Recently, Johannes released his own album “In Het Heetst van de ijstijd”. His other projects include bands like “Old Salt”, “People in houses” and “Het Kleinkunst Kollektief”.

Jeroen Vanhoorne
Double Bass & Electric Bass
Jeroen is the newest addition to Bearfeet. An experienced musician, he excels in multiple genres, including folk, rock, jazz, and classical music. His energetic vibe and passion are evident both on and off stage.
